IGA is proud to support athletes with intellectual disabilities through its partnership with Special Olympics Québec. Since 1981, the organization has promoted the social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities through unified sports and health management initiatives. This partnership encourages athletes to push their limits and create an environment where they can develop their potential and manage their health and fitness to become more active members of society

Special Olympics Québec has 17 official sports in which athletes can train year-round and organizes regional championships as well as summer and winter games for over 8,000 Quebec athletes. For more information on upcoming events, visit their official site.
