The Easter long weekend is the perfect opportunity to get together with family or friends over a good meal. It’s time to finally leave winter behind and celebrate the fresh flavours of spring. Brunch is the perfect meal to enjoy within a group setting, and in an atmosphere that is both festive and relaxed. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of this convivial moment.
Famous Easter Ham
A successful brunch doesn’t need to have too many hot dishes to manage at the same time. We want to serve our guests without running around! Easter ham is the perfect centrepiece. To make your life easier, you can cook it the day before and gently reheat it before the guests arrive. It can be placed on the table and served in slices.

Easter Eggs
As the saying goes, you can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs! For brunch, they can be prepared in all sorts of ways. Eggs Benedict is best suited for small groups, yet when there are a lot of people, bet on omelettes, quiche, deviled eggs or individual cups, which are easier and quicker to serve.

Chocolate, the Choice Guest
The Easter Bunny has to take a turn at brunch, too. You can plan an egg hunt for the children, but a few Easter chocolates slipped into an organza bag and placed on the plate of each guest is always a nice touch. You can also serve chocolate dishes, such as cupcakes, chocolate pancakes or waffles, or have chocolate spreads close at hand.

Carrots, a Bunny’s Fave
Give a nod to the Easter bunny by including carrots on the menu. Prepare maple-glazed carrots, a carrot salad, or even a fruit and carrot smoothie with vibrant colours! And for dessert, why not opt for carrot cake-style cookies.
Vitamin-Rich Fruits
The freshness of spring invites itself to the table with vibrant fruit, such as the world of citrus. These items are perfect for celebrating the return of the sun and can be served in the form of fruit salad, fruit skewers, individual cups, or on a cake stand.

Breads and Other Delights
A good way to entertain in simplicity mode is to offer several bread options for the table. Prepare platters of pastries, rolls with spreads, butter and jams. You can also choose savoury options, with cheeses, pâtés, seafood mousses or cretons.
You can also plan a smoked salmon bagel bar, with a small station that brings together breads, cream cheese, sliced smoked salmon, lemon, onions and capers.
If your guests insist on bringing something, suggest a contribution to this small buffet!
Drinks
Brunch equals mimosas, right? Prepare the cups for bubbles and orange juice, but also for sparkling non-alcoholic cocktails that will please everyone. And of course, tea and coffee options.

A Beautiful Spring Table
Easter is a time to celebrate the colours of spring. But there’s no need to change your dishware, you can add colour in all kinds of ways: beautiful bouquets of flowers, paper napkins, tablecloths, juice pitchers... Choose pastel tones, such as yellow, pink, purple, blue and green to delight the eyes just as much as the appetites!
